Working with Baxter & Bailey, a disruptive campaign design concept was executed across every single touchpoint in education, winning a WhatUni Student Choice award.

Goldsmiths, University of London had a challenge: nestled in South East London, home of a prestigious Art School and one othe oldest teacher training facilities in the UK, they found students self-de-selected; so how do you showcase the strength of diversity of an institution like no other. It also fell foul of something so many large institutions do: explaining itself to the world by it’s own structure, not by the needs or wants of the user.

There was also a brand challenge: too busy, too many colours too much going on. It was confusing and added to the complexity of understanding the Institution.

The solution was a gloriously simple, type-focused campaign that showcased the strength in diversity: there are countless opportunities, but only One Goldsmiths. The video below captures the strength of the campaign but the real genius, discovered by working closely with Baxter & Bailey and their copywrighter, is how it could bend and flex to augment the style to any one of the diverse intellectual dynamics of the institution.
